Complete darkness
has vanished from bedrooms.
Maison Noctya was born from this observation. A French house of the night, founded to give bedrooms back what light has taken from them.
We counted
the lights.
The television diode. The charger. The router. The streetlight through the blinds. A modern bedroom no longer knows true night: it keeps watch, even while you sleep.
Sleep, for its part, has not changed. It needs darkness: it is in the dark that the body understands the day is over.
It's not a matter of willpower. It's a matter of environment, and of the objects that create it.
So we made a single object, entirely.
Not a range. Not endless variations. One sleep mask, considered down to its pouch, corrected down to its last seam: an object that rests on your face eight hours a night deserves a house that makes nothing else.
The Noctya skirt was born from an irritation.
Every mask lets light in at the same place: along the nose. We never saw anyone fix it, so we drew a silk border sewn along a single line, free to move, that fits any face. We called it the skirt.
The rest of the object followed the same standard: a soft moulded shell so nothing touches the eyelids, 22 momme mulberry silk on both faces, certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.
The first series counts one hundred pieces. Not one more: a house begins small, and watches every piece leave.
The signal
Dim the light. Put away the phone. That simple gesture that tells your body the day is done. You can start to let go.
The care
The slow evening gestures. The cream, the warm water, the herbal tea. A few minutes that belong only to you, and change everything that follows.
The quiet
Silk resting over your eyes. Darkness settles in, even over that charger light that wakes you. The outside world fades. Sleep can finally begin.
A house of the night,
not one more accessory.
There are houses for skin, for fragrance, for linen. The night, meanwhile, had no house: accessories by the thousand, and no standard.
Maison Noctya exists for that territory: the moment the day closes. We serve it with one object, one ritual, and the seriousness usually reserved for things that show.
The night does not show. That is exactly why it deserves the luxury.
